Ottó Orbán, a Hungarian poet and essayist, wrote nearly twenty books of verse, a travelogue on India, and translations of English and American poetry. His works describe war, persecution, and his orphanhood. Orbán twice received the Attila József Prize, as well as the Robert Graves Prize and the Kossuth Prize.
