Galila Ron-Feder is an author and editor of children’s literature, born in Haifa. In 1972, she founded a nature magazine for children. She has written more than two hundred books that have been widely translated, as well as several novels for adults. Ron-Feder received the Magic Curtain Award in 2001 and the Zionist Federation’s Kalat Haor Award in 2007.
