Born in New York City, Nina Jaffe is an author, folklorist, and storyteller. She teaches in the graduate faculty at the Bank Street College of Education in New York. Jaffe’s writing introduces children to folklore from around the world, particularly traditional Jewish stories. Among her many honors and citations are two Sydney Taylor Awards and a Smithsonian Notable Award.
