3-D rendering of lit-up buildings.
Hecker’s design for the Museum of the History of the Polish Jews (Polin) proposed a complex of two buildings: one a rectangular concrete block and the other a lighter metal and glass structure. The new buildings were intended to complement but not to overshadow the existing Monument to the Ghetto Heroes (commemorating the Warsaw Ghetto Uprising) to which it would be adjacent. Ultimately, however, Hecker’s design did not win the competition and was not built.
