The Posen Digital Library is a digital archive of the Posen Foundation. The Posen Digital Library makes available via the Internet articles and related materials from the Posen Foundation's book series entitled The Posen Library of Jewish Culture and Civilization, published by Yale University Press, department of Yale University (the "Publisher"), as well as related materials.

What Does This Privacy Policy Cover
This Privacy Policy covers our treatment of personal information that we gather when you are on the posenlibrary.com Website, and when you use the Posen Digital Library Service. What about Cookies?

(5)User Generated Content:
"User Generated Content" is information, including content, messages, text files, images, profiles, works of authorship, or other materials, that you and other Users share with the Posen Digital Library community. You should be aware that Personal Information which you voluntarily include in the Posen Digital Library discussion board area, your user Profile and other public User Generated Content, such as tags and annotations, may be viewed and used by other registered Posen Digital Library users. We are unable to control those uses of your Personal Information, and by using those services you assume the risk that the Personal Information provided by you may be viewed and used by third parties. We cannot remove your Personal Information from the records of any third party that has been provided with your information in association with your User Generated Content. Take great care when deciding what to post in a discussion board, public tag or public annotation: your username and posts may unwittingly reveal Personal Information to other Posen Digital Library users.
Is Information About Me Secure?
Your Posen Digital Library Service account information is protected by a password for your privacy and security. You should protect against unauthorized access to your password and to your computer by signing off once you have finished using a shared computer.
Only those working on our behalf or for our benefit such as employees or Agents who need personal information to perform a specific job (for example, a customer service representative) are granted access to your account information.
What Information Can I Access?
You can access your personal information in "My Account" or posted user content on the Posen Digital Library site and correct, amend, or delete information that is inaccurate.
What Choices Do I Have?
As stated previously, you can opt not to disclose information, but then you may not be able to make a purchase or take advantage of certain Posen Digital Library Service features.
You are able to add or update certain information on pages, such as those listed in the "What Information Can I Access" section above. When you update information, however, we may retain a copy of the unrevised information in our records.
If you are a registered user of Posen Digital Library registration-based services, you may request deletion of your Posen Digital Library account by emailing us at support@posenlibrary.com. Please note that some information may remain in our records after deletion of your account.
If you are a registered user of the Posen Digital Library's registration-based services and do not wish to receive promotional e-mail from us, please email support@posenlibrary.com. However, all registered users receive regular system emails to confirm their continued participation in the Posen Digital Library Service.

Can Children Use the Posen Digital Library Service?

Conditions of Use
If you decide to visit the posenlibrary.com Website, your visit and any possible dispute over privacy is subject to this Privacy Policy and our Terms and Conditions, including limitations on damages, and application of the laws of the State of New York, United States of America.

The Posen Digital Library Service may permit you to link to other websites on the Internet, and other websites may contain links to the posenlibrary.com Website. From time to time, the Posen Foundation may amend this Privacy Policy. Use of information we have collected is subject to the Privacy Policy in effect at the time such information is used.
