Ambrose

ca. 339–397
Born in Gaul and raised in Rome, Ambrose became the bishop of Milan in 374 CE. His writings, sermons, and hymns gained significant traction in the early church and continue to hold doctrinal status in the Catholic Church. He famously converted and baptized Augustine of Hippo.
