Chava Weissler

b. 1947

Born in Washington, D.C., Chava Weissler is a professor of Jewish civilization at Lehigh University. A specialist in Jewish folklore, tradition, mysticism, tkhines, and women’s history, Weissler is also a translator and a recipient of the 1999 Jewish History Koret Book Award.
