Einat Ramon

Born in Israel, Einat Ramon received her ordination from the Jewish Theological Seminary of America in 1989, and was Israel’s fi rst woman rabbi. In the 1990s, Ramon studied Judaism and religious studies at Stanford University, receiving her doctorate and serving in tandem as a rabbi in Berkeley, California, and several areas in Montana. From 2005 to 2009, Ramon was dean of the Schechter Rabbinical Seminary in Jerusalem.
