Joseph Ibn Plat

Joseph Ibn Plat may have emigrated from North Africa to Europe and was active in Lunel, Provence. He was in frequent contact with leading rabbis of his day. The few details we have about his life are largely gleaned from later quotations of his responsa and commentaries; only one fragment of his treatise on the prayers survives.
