Juvenal

Juvenal was a Roman poet best known for his Satires, a collection of poems critiquing Roman society. He skewered the moral corruption, social inequality, and decadence of imperial Rome with biting wit and sharp rhetoric. Unusually for a Roman poet, Juvenal targeted Jewish members of society and Jewish customs in his diatribe.
