Larry Abramson

South African–born artist Larry Abramson immigrated to Israel in 1961. He is a recipient of the America-Israel Cultural Foundation Award (1988), the Jacques O’Hana Prize for a Young Israeli Artist (Tel Aviv Museum of Art, 1991), and the Minister of Education and Culture Award (1998). Abramson taught at the Bezalel Academy of Art and Design (1984–2002) and is a professor of art at Shenkar College in Jerusalem.
