Letty Cottin Pogrebin

b. 1939

Born and raised in Queens, New York, Letty Cottin Pogrebin attended Brandeis University. As a journalist and feminist activist, she was a founding editor of Ms. magazine. A strong activist against antisemitism, Pogrebin has also served as president of the Authors Guild and was active in Americans for Peace Now.
