Quintilian

ca. 35–ca. 100
Quintilian (Marcus Fabius Quintilianus) was born in Hispania and later in life studied and taught rhetoric in Rome. His only extant work is Institutio Oratoria (Institutes of Oratory), a discussion of the elements of rhetoric and how to teach it.
