Samuel ben Judah ha-Bavli

Almost nothing is known about the life of Samuel ben Judah ha-Bavli. He was an Iraqi Jew who lived in Alexandria and, as attested in the two letters of his that are preserved in the Cairo Geniza, was a book collector.
