Sybil Rosen

Born in Lynchburg, Virginia, Sybil Rosen studied theater and acted until moving to New York in the late 1970s. In addition to her career as an actor, she is a children’s writer, playwright, and editor. Living in upstate New York, Rosen is a ranger and editor of the journal Ridgelines at the Mohonk Preserve in New Paltz. Rosen received the Sydney Taylor Award in 2001.
