Tikva Frymer- Kensky

An author, editor, educator, and translator, Americanborn Frymer- Kensky received her doctorate at Yale University. As professor of Hebrew Bible and the history of Judaism at the University of Chicago’s divinity school, Frymer- Kensky’s scholarship addressed biblical studies, Jewish studies, Assyriology, Sumerology, and women in religion.
