Yehuda Atlas
A writer of books for children and teenagers, Yehuda Atlas was born in Moshav En Iron, Israel. Among his works is Vehayeled hazeh hu ani (And This Child Is Me; 1977), one of the most widely read children’s books in Hebrew. Much of Atlas’s work has been translated, dramatized, and recorded. Yehuda Atlas joined the editorial staff of the daily newspaper Yediot Aharonot in the early 1960s. In 2003, he published Yeladim gedolim (Big Children), a three- volume work on Western children’s literature.

Dani Kerman
Dani Kerman is a painter, sculptor, illustrator, cartoonist, and designer who was born in Moshav Karkkur, Israel. In 1963, he established a design studio in Tel Aviv, and since 1982, has served as editor of the satirical magazine, Davar aher (Something Else). Kerman has also designed costumes and scenery for theater productions in Tel Aviv.
