I. W. Loewenbach was a Jewish medalist in Munich who was active from the 1820s through the 1860s. He created medals on Bavarian nationalist themes, including the inauguration of the statue Bavaria in Munich (1850), the Seventh Centenary of Munich (1858), and the fiftieth anniversary of the October Festival in Munich (1860).
