Late Roman/Early Byzantine Pottery

This image shows assemblages of locally produced pottery from the late Roman and Byzantine periods. From the fourth century onward, locally produced pottery was supplemented by new types of imported red-slipped wares, which became especially common in the second half of the fifth century.
