The Tosefta on the Rebuilt Temple
But in the last building [i.e., the Temple], which will be built in the future in our lives and in our days, what is said about it? In the days to come, the Mount of the Lord’s House shall stand firm above the mountains, etc. . . . And the many peoples shall go and say: “Come, Let us go up to the Mount of the Lord, to the House of the God of Jacob” (Isaiah 2:2–3, NJPS); For the day is coming when watchmen shall proclaim on the heights of Ephraim: Come, let us go up to Zion, To the Lord our God! (Jeremiah 31:6, NJPS).
