Gerard Marx

b. ca. 1941

Born in Luxemburg, Gerard (Gerry) Marx grew up in New York and studied art there. In 1968, he moved to Jerusalem. In the early 1970s, he was one of the first Israeli conceptual artists, creating art installations, some together with Joshua Neustein and Georgette Batlle.
