Ezekiel ha-Kohen
Ezekiel ha-Kohen was active in the Near East, possibly in Egypt. Otherwise not much is known about his life. He is referred to in Arabic as al-Baṣīr (The Seeing), a euphemistic appellation sometimes given to one who is blind. His work survives in a manuscript from the Cairo Geniza containing several liturgical poems.
