Let Laughter Ring is a book made up of hundreds of jokes and short, clever stories about Jewish life. The humor focuses on everyday experiences, such as being an immigrant, dealing with family relationships, thinking about politics, and adjusting to life in America. Many of the jokes play with familiar stereotypes—about businessmen, doctors, rabbis, marriage, and family life—and often feature self-mockery.
