Willem Surenhuys
1666–1729
Willem Surenhuys was a Dutch Christian scholar of Hebrew who translated the Mishnah into Latin between 1698 and 1703. The son of a German-born minister, he studied at the University of Groningen and later taught in Amsterdam.
