Esther Hershenhorn

Born and raised in Philadelphia, Esther Hershenhorn is the author of children’s books. She also teaches the art of writing for children, at Chicago’s Newberry Library and at the University of Chicago’s Writer’s Studio. In 2003 Hershenhorn received the Sydney Taylor Book Award for Younger Readers from the Association of Jewish Libraries.
