Leo Kahn

Very little is known about the photographer Leo Kahn, who was born in Austria and studied photography in Vienna. On assignment from his employer, the Viennese newspaper Jüdische Zeitung, Kahn traveled to Palestine in 1912 on a trip funded by the Jewish National Fund to produce images of its various towns and Jewish communities.
