Paulus Orosius

ca. 375/385–ca. 420
Paulus Orosius was a Roman historian, priest, and theologian, probably from the Iberian peninsula, who traveled extensively throughout the Roman Empire, including to Palestine and Alexandria. His Seven Books of History against the Pagans was an immensely popular historical resource in the medieval period.
