Levi Ibn Mar Saul

Levi ben Isaac Ibn Mar Saul of Córdoba, in al-Andalus (Muslim Spain), was likely the son of the prominent tenth-century grammarian and poet Isaac Ibn Mar Saul, although this is not absolutely certain. At some point, Levi moved to Tortosa, where he wrote several poems, particularly panegyrics. Two of Levi’s piyyu-tim (liturgical poems) also survive.
