Nothing is known about the lives of Moses ha-Yakar ben Israel and Sitt al-Kull bat Eli, other than that they were betrothed and, presumably, married, in 1131, and Sitt al-Kull moved from her home in Fustāt (Old Cairo) to her husband’s city of al-Maḥalla, Egypt.
