Ohev Ibn Muhājir
11th Century–12th Century
Ohev ben Meir ha-Nasi Ibn Muhājir was a liturgical poet in Spain. Little is known about him, beyond a brief mention of his exemplary poetic activities by the twelfth-century chronicler Abraham ibn Dā’ūd in his The Book of Tradition (Sefer ha-kabbalah). It is possible that Ohev was a member of the noteworthy Ibn Muhājir family from Seville. Four of his liturgical poems have been preserved.
