Salāma ibn Mūsā

Salāma ibn Mūsā, originally from Sfax, Tunisia, was a merchant who wrote lengthy letters to his business partners and friends. He spent significant time in Sicily and Alexandria, often to escape political upheavals and their associated economic uncertainty in Tunisia.
