Mishael ben Uzziel
11th Century
Little is known of the life of scholar Mishael ben Uzziel. He may have been a Karaite and likely lived in Jerusalem. He was the author of Kitāb al-khilaf (Book of the Differences), which lists differences of opinion between the two main Masoretes, Aaron ben Moses Ben Asher and Moses ben David Ben Naftali.
