David Ibn Paqūda

11th Century–12th Century

David ben Eleazar Ibn Paqūda was a liturgical poet from Saragossa, Spain, likely a cousin of the philosopher Baḥya Ibn Paqūda. Nothing else is known of his life. His poetry, including several penitential seliḥot, found acclaim in Sephardic and Italian rites.
