Theodotos, son of Vettenus, priest and ruler of the synagogue [archisynagōgos], son of a ruler of the synagogue [archisynagōgos], grandson of a ruler of the synagogue [archisynagōgos], built the synagogue [synagōgē] for the reading of the law and the teaching of the commandments, and also the guest chamber and the upper rooms and the ritual pools…
