Ḥayim al-Baradānī

Ḥayim al-Baradānī was a poet and cantor in Baghdad. Fourteen of his poems exist. Almost nothing is known of his life. His son, Joseph, born around 915, was better known, with hundreds of extant poems to his credit, and his grandson and great-grandson also produced acclaimed poetry.
